On Monday, January 29, the McKinney Christian Academy varsity girl's soccer team played at home against Shelton. As the game progressed, the Mustangs took the lead with the score being 5-1 at half. The girls continued to dominate possession as they scored another two goals. Sophomore Lizzie Gutschlag shared her thoughts on the upcoming game saying, "We are looking forward to play Dallas Covenant later this week and are preparing for a solid match. Our team just needs to focus connecting passes and working together more as a team."
Their next game is on Thursday, February 1Â at Dallas Covenant.
