On Monday, February 17, the McKinney Christian Lady Mustangs soccer team faced off against Dallas Christian. The final score was 7-0, with the Lady Mustangs claiming the district title. Senior Casey Gerardis led with 2 goals. Senior Havilah Mahadi, Senior Kadence Ackmann, Junior Tatum Barnard, Junior Lizzie Gutschlag, and Sophomore Aubrey Hagstrom all had 1 goal. Senior Kadence Ackmann talked about the game, saying, " It was a good way to end district with a big win." Sophomore Aubrey Hagstrom said, " We worked together as a team and made a statement. I'm happy we got to be undefeated district champs."
