On Monday, February 24, the Lady Mustangs Varsity soccer team faced off against Pantego Christian in the Area playoff game. The Lady Mustangs had a very successful outing, winning the match 5-1. Junior Hannah Doshier, senior Casey Gerardis and junior Sadie Blake each scored for the team. The leading scorer was Junior Tatum Barnard, who netted two goals. Following the game, Doshier shared her thoughts, saying, "We played very well, and I am excited to move on to the next round of playoffs with my team." The Lady Mustangs' next game will be a Regional match at 3:30 against Prince of Peace.
