On Tuesday, February 17, the MCA boys varsity basketball team played against Lake Country.  The final score was 87-63, giving the Mustangs the win. The top scorers of the game were Junior, Diego Landin, with 23 points, senior, Jaden Vicknare, with 17, and sophomore, Elias Guadamuz, with 15. The Mustangs controlled the tempo throughout the entire game. When Landin was asked about the game, he said, "We didn't play our best, but we are happy we got the win. Now we are going to be prepared for the next round." When Head Coach Fonzo Martinez was asked about the game, he said this: "We had a great 2nd quarter, outscoring them 33-10. Lake Country came out hot, making 13 threes on the night, but we were able to do a good job attacking inside."
