Mustangs Stay On Top of the District

Mustang Volleyball Defeat Bishop Gorman

The Lady Mustangs set the energy level before the match starts.

On September 30, the McKinney Christian varsity volleyball team also played Bishop Gorman. In the first set, the Mustangs won 25-11. Sophomore Presley Dreffs led the set with her aces. In the second set, the Mustangs won 25-9. The third set proved to be the deciding factor in the Mustangs' win. They won the third set 25-10. The leading scorers of the match were senior Sadie Blake with 13 kills and Sophomore Ellie Mullins had seven aces. Dreffs spoke about the game. She said, "Winning tonight felt amazing. We trusted each other, stayed locked in, and played our hearts out. We all kept our energy up the whole game, on and off the court. "
