On October 2, MCA Volleyball faced off against Dallas Christian in a heated match up.  JV Volleyball played first and went into the first set hot, winning it over Dallas Christian 25-13, putting them up 1-0 going into the second. In the second set, it was back and forth, but the Mustangs came out on top, winning it 25-15, giving them the sweep over DC.

Next, the MCA varsity Mustangs took the court. In the first set, MCA came out with a win against DC, 25-18. The next set went the same way, with the Mustangs winning 25-12, putting them up 2-0 going into the third set. In the last set, DC fought hard, but the Mustangs were just too strong to beat, and the Mustangs took the final set, 25-14, securing the sweep over DC. Junior, Tristyn Vineyard, spoke about the game, saying, "We did really well and worked as a team. I am proud of the way we played and am excited about the rest of the season."
The Mustangs will play again on October 7th against Rockwall Heritage in the SLC. This is also Lil Stangs Night.
