McKinney Christian Academy

Nathan Hamilton is in his fifth year at McKinney Christian Academy, serving as the JV Head Basketball Coach, Varsity Basketball Assistant Coach, and Middle School Golf Head Coach. With six years of coaching experience, he brings a strong track record of leadership, development, and competitive success.

Before joining MCA, Coach Hamilton spent time at Legacy Christian Academy and has been recognized multiple times by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC), earning honors such as Middle School Coach of the Year, JV Coach of the Year, and Assistant Coach of the Year.

Coach Hamilton is passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. One of his guiding coaching principles is inspired by a quote from Vince Lombardi:
“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”
This mindset drives his commitment to high standards, continual improvement, and cultivating a culture of discipline, teamwork, and excellence.
