On Friday, Aug. 28, McKinney Christian Academy dominated Founders Classical Academy, earning its first victory of the 2026 football season. The Mustangs took control early, leading 13-0 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 26-6 by halftime. McKinney Christian continued to pull away in the second half, building a 41-point lead by the end of the third quarter before finishing with 53 points. Senior Quarterback Jackson Solomon led the Mustangs passing, completing 87.5% of his passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns. Angel Rivera added two rushing touchdowns and 60 yards on the ground. The win improved McKinney Christians record to 1-1 on the season after a heartbreaking 21-18 loss to Nolan Catholic in their opener. Senior Harrison Thompson said this about the dominant win. "I think the offense really clicked this game and improved a lot from last week.
