On Friday, September 11, McKinney Christian Academy dominated Colleyville Covenant, earning its third victory of the 2026 football season. The Mustangs took control early, leading 20-0 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 31-14 by halftime. MCA maintained its lead throughout the second half to secure the win, 59-14. Senior quarterback Jackson Solomon led the Mustangs' passing attack, completing nine of 12 passes for 177 yards and four touchdowns. Senior Noah Morabito added two receiving touchdowns and 48receiving yards.
The win improved the Mustangs' record to 3-1 on the season after a 42-0 win over WildFire HSA. "I think the offense really clicked this game and improved a lot from last week. I'm looking forward to seeing what we do in next week's game," Senior, Lincoln Pogue said.
The Mustangs will look to build on the victory when they return home to face Prince of Peace on Sept. 18.
