On Saturday, April 12, the McKinney Christian Academy Varsity baseball team hosted the Shelton Chargers for their final district game. The Mustangs only needed a win to finish undefeated in district play. They struck first in the bottom of the first inning when a pitch hit senior Micah Gagnon, and senior Jackson Johnson grounded into a double play, allowing one run to score. In the third inning, sophomore Josh Anderson added another run with a sacrifice fly. The Mustangs got hot in the sixth, scoring six more runs and securing a dominant 10-0 victory. After the game, Anderson said, "It feels great to be the best team in the district and finish with a perfect record throughout district play."

The Mustang's next game is on Monday, April 14, against Coram Deo Flower Mound.
