On Tuesday, March 31, McKinney Christian Academy varsity baseball fell short in a 0-1 loss to Dallas Christian. In what proved to be a defensive game, Ian Mulligan pitched a no-hitter. Although Dallas Christian was a tough opponent and scored a run while MCA remained scoreless, the match highlighted strong play on both sides. With this loss, MCA falls to 4–1 in district play, but continues its impressive start to the season. Reflecting on the outcome, Junior Josh Anderson said, "It was a really tough loss, but we will bounce back and play hard to blow the next one out of this world." Looking ahead, the Mustangs face Dallas Christian again at home on Wednesday, April 1.
