On Tuesday, October 4, the Lady Mustangs faced the Pantego Panthers. The first set started with McKinney Christian Academy winning 26-24. Both teams fought hard in the second set, and the Lady Mustangs won 25-20. The Lady Mustangs finished the game with a win, 25-20. Senior, Sadie Blake, finishes the game with a high of 15 kills. Sophomore, Brittany Bartoo, ended the game with 14 kills. Bartoo shares her thoughts on the game, saying, "The energy on the bench was amazing, everyone was cheering and hyping each other up the whole game. Even when we made a couple of mistakes, we didn't let it bring us down. We worked together, stayed positive, and came back even stronger." The team also celebrated sophomore, Ellie Mullins', 1000 assists.
