On Thursday, November 6, the women's varsity basketball team played against Mercy Prep. The Lady Mustangs lost by one point, 31–32. Sophomore Harper Johnson led the team with 15 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Elizabeth Thompson added ten points and nine rebounds. The game was closely contested throughout, with both teams trading leads before the final buzzer. Freshman Carrington Lansford spoke about the game. She said, "Although we didn't win, we tried our best. I am excited for our team to grow closer."
