On Tuesday, November 4th, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs opened their basketball season with a thrilling come-from-behind win over HSAA during the school's annual White Out Game. The MCA gym was packed with students, parents, and faculty all dressed in white, creating an electric atmosphere for the season opener. The Mustangs came out strong and took an early lead, but HSAA responded with a big second quarter run to go up by 20 points. At halftime, the Mustangs regrouped and came out with a new level of energy and determination. From that moment on, the game completely shifted. Junior, Diego Landin, led the charge with a standout performance, scoring 31 points, including 16 in the fourth quarter. Junior, Leo Jimenez, added 20 points and was nearly unstoppable from three point range, knocking down clutch shots that kept the momentum swinging MCA's way. Fueled by the noise of the White Out crowd and their relentless fight, the Mustangs stormed all the way back to secure an unforgettable season-opening victory and set the tone for what promises to be an exciting year of Mustang basketball. Their next game is on Thursday, November 6, against Prestonwood.
