On Friday, March 21, the McKinney Christian Baseball team played in a tightly contested baseball match, the McKinney Christian Mustangs faced off against Fort Worth Country Day School, ultimately falling short in a 1-0 defeat. After the game, Senior, Jax Marshall had to say this about the close loss, "I think we fought hard, but if we want to make a deep run in the playoffs, we are going to need to learn how to close out close games like this." Despite stellar pitching and solid defense from both teams, a single run decided the outcome. The Mustangs showed resilience and sportsmanship throughout, leaving everything on the field. While the loss may sting, their determination and teamwork promise brighter days ahead on the diamond.
The Mustangs will play their next game at home on Tuesday, March 26 versus Brook Hill.
