On Tuesday, March 19, the McKinney Christian baseball team traveled to North Richland Hills to play Fort Worth Christian in a non district matchup during their district bye week. In the top of the first the mustangs put up 2 runs due to walks and hit by pitches. Senior Connor Jarzombek would get the start for the Mustangs and would would keep the cardinals at 0 runs for 3 innings. In the bottom of the fourth Freshman Josh Anderson would come into pitch allowing 1 run but the mustangs responded with 2 of their own growing the lead to 4-1. While the cardinals would score in the bottom of the 6 and 7 inning the mustangs would hold the lead with closer Landen Jones striking out the last batter of the game.
The mustangs will travel to Fort Worth to play Southwest Christian in another non district matchup on Thursday, March 21.
