On Tuesday, January 9, the McKinney Christian boys basketball team faced off against Dallas Covenant in their second district game. Before the game John Clark had to say this about the game, "This is the first game of a tough three games, every game is a must win from here on out." It was a back and forth game but the McKinney Christian Mustangs ended up on top in a close one, 48-45. John Clark and Uriah Boutte led the way leading the mustangs in scoring in the close win. The Mustangs are in for a long district season having just played two of their 14 games.

The McKinney Christian Mustangs will face off against the Dallas Shelton Chargers on Thursday, January 11 in an away game.
