On Friday, September 1, The MCA Mustang varsity football team headed to First Baptist Academy in Dallas, Texas. The Mustangs were defeated in this matchup with a final score of 72 to 41. One of the Mustang stars was senior Noah Wheeler. Wheeler expressed his feelings about the game saying, "It was a tough loss, but the difference between our team this year and last year is night and day, we have been able to fight back and it is a big improvement." The Mustangs will have to pick up their heads for their next game is at home verse the Pantego Christian Panthers on Friday, September 8.
