Kendra Ogroske is in her 4th season as the Varsity Assistant Softball Coach at McKinney Christian Academy. Ogroske also teaches math in the high school here at MCA.
Coach Ogroske has extensive experience playing softball at the select level, earning all-district and all-state awards all 4 years of high school at TCA and Second Baptist (Houston). She primarily played first base and was the backup pitcher for her high school team. After entertaining a few offers to play collegiately, Ogroske decided to hang up her cleats and attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business. Ogroske later returned to school earning her Master in Business Administration.Â
Ogroske's coaching philosophy  centers on nurturing well-rounded athletes who not only excel in their sport but also grow into strong, principled individuals. My approach integrates the development of fundamental skills, leadership qualities, self-discipline, and work ethic, all while grounding our efforts in Christian values.Â
She is married to her husband TJ for the past 20 years, who is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Southwest Airlines. They have a son Jacoby who is an 9th grader and a daughter Crista who is a 4th grader, both at MCA. When not in the classroom or on the diamond here at MCA, you can find Coach Ogroske out supporting or coaching her kids at their sporting events.Â
Ogroske's favorite scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
