Starting on Monday, November 24, the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs' varsity men's basketball team began the Fort Worth Classic Tournament. The first game was held on Monday, and the Mustangs faced off against Oakridge High School. The Mustangs started off the tournament with a win over Oakridge. This game was controlled by MCA the entire time, and the Mustangs won 94-37. In the second game on Monday, the Mustangs played Greenville Christian from Mississippi. Once again, the Mustangs controlled this game, with MCA winning 79-15. In the first game on Tuesday, the Mustangs faced The Village School from Houston, still undefeated at that point. The Mustangs defeated Village 72-42. The Mustangs head into the final game of the tournament undefeated, playing to remain undefeated. MCA played Cooper High School. The Mustangs pulled away in the end, winning 78-41. MCA remains undefeated this season. Freshman Gabe Castillo spoke about the game, saying, "We had a lot of energy and were ready to play. It showed through our performance, and I'm glad we brought home the win." They play next at home on Tuesday, December 2, against Bishop Dunne.
