On Monday, December 3, the McKinney Christian Academy Varsity girl's soccer team played POPCS at home in preparation for district play. The Mustangs started strong, with the halftime score being 3-0. As the game continued, both teams continued to play hard. The girls almost tripled the score, making the final 8-0, a Mustang win. The players that scored were senior Havilah Mahadi, junior Tatum Barnard, freshman Megan Moats, junior Lizzie Gutshlag, and senior Casey Gerardis. Junior Hannah Dosier was asked about her thoughts on the game, and she said, "I think that we played well as a team and worked together as a team really good. I am excited for this upcoming season."

Their next game is on Monday, December 9, against Texas Storm.
