The Mustang Men's basketball team participated in the November 14-16 Faith Classic tournament. This was the first time in the program's history that the Mustangs won the Faith Classic tournament. They played 4 games in 3 days. The first game was against Lake Country Christian School. Senior
John Clark finished with 23 points and junior
Manny Weaver with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists. The Mustangs took down Bishop Dunne High School 91-59 in the second game. Clark was the leading scorer again with 27 points and senior
Drew Hamilton with 23 points. The Mustangs stayed undefeated with another win over Grace Prep, with Clark dropping 19 points to lead the Mustangs again. At the time, Grace Prep was the #3 team in the state for 5A. Finally, the Mustangs defeated Grapevine Faith to become the Faith Classic Champions, scoring 67-51. Grapevine Faith was also a top-ten team in the state for 5A. Hamilton was the leading scorer with 33 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
