On Monday, December 9, the varsity girls' soccer team played Texas Storm at home. At halftime, the Mustangs were down 1-0. Both teams continued to play hard and work together. During the second half, junior Tatum Barnard scored to tie the game. Junior Hannah Doshier was asked about her thoughts on the game. "I thought we played well, and this was a great game to prepare us for district." The final score was 1-1.

The next varsity girls' soccer game is Thursday, December 12, at Tyler All Saints.
