On Tuesday, October 22, the McKinney Christian Academy Lady Mustangs faced off against Dallas Christian. Because it was Senior Night, all four seniors were recognized with a memorable video, flowers and a gift from the team. The varsity team started off with a huge lead in the first set finishing 25-8. They never let up after this. The Lady Mustangs won the match in three straight sets. As a result of their win, they secured the District Championship. Sophomore Alexis Guerrero led the team with 12 aces, senior Kadence Ackmann led with 9 kills and Mia Gunn with 13 digs. Senior Bren Williams talked about the game saying, "We all played with a lot of energy and we were playing for each other not just ourselves."

The Lady Mustangs' next game will be on Tuesday, November 5 and host the Area Round of playoffs.
