On Thursday, November 9, the McKinney Christian Upper School basketball team played in the Grapevine Faith Classic at Grapevine Faith High School. The tournament was formatted bracket style, with each team moving on if they won and leaving the tournament if they lost. MCA played their first game against Fort Worth All Saints and dominated that game with the final score being 71-30. In the second game, they faced Trinity Christian Academy Willow Park and defeated them with a score of 57-48. In the semi-finals, the Mustangs narrowly defeated Grapevine Faith 63-59. In the championship, MCA fought hard, but came up short to Midland Christian with a  score of 58-70. Senior Uriah Boutte was selected All Tournament team. 

The Mustangs next basketball game is on Saturday, November 18, against St. Johns at home.
